Fundraising
We need to raise around £900 a day to run our essential services.
Here are some ways you can help us to raise this amount, so that we can help to improve the lives of more older people on the Isle of Wight:
Organise an event
Holding an event can be great fun, and a really rewarding experience. Whether you hold a tea party, quiz or a sponsored baked bean eating competition, all the money raised will be going to a wonderful cause. You don’t have to make an ongoing commitment and we can give you as much support as you need.
Great Sunday Lunch
Each October, we hold the Great Sunday Lunch. This is a fantastic way to support older people in the local community, raise money and have fun. It’s as simple as holding a lunch and asking guests to donate money for their meal. Why not get involved next year?
Donate Your Unwanted Gifts
During 2010 Age Concern Isle of Wight will have stalls at the following events:
Isle of Wight Garlic Festival – 14th and 15th August
Chale Summer Show – 7th and 8th August
