How to Donate

We need to raise around £900 a day to run essential services, so every penny we receive counts.

Our services can only touch the tip of the iceberg of older people that need our help and support. With your help we can reach more people. These are just a few examples of how your donations can make a difference:

Up to £1 could pay for...
A telephone call to listen to a vulnerable person’s needs.

Up to £10 could pay for...
A letter to be written on behalf of a vulnerable older person to help them to present their views and speak up for themselves.

Up to £20 could pay for...
Our Welfare Benefits team to assess the needs of an older person to ensure they are receiving all the benefits to which they are entitled and help improve their quality of life.

Up to £50 could pay for...
3 hours of a trained advocate's time to support a vulnerable older person through a difficult situation.

Legacy giving

Leaving a gift to Age Concern Isle of Wight in your will, helps us to safeguard the future of older people. No matter how small your gift is you will make a real difference. We rely on the gifts and legacies that are left by our supporters to help to continue our services. If you would like to have more information about writing a will or leaving a legacy please phone Sally on 01983 525282.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK tax payer, please do complete a Gift Aid declaration. This will enable us to claim back the tax you pay – 28p in every £1 you give.
